This one day, annual meeting, brings together healthcare professionals and allied professionals taking care of people living with HIV with central nervous system neurological manifestations.

The meeting is attended by HIV clinicians, HIV clinical academics, neurologists, neuro-radiologists, statisticians and basic scientists in the field of HIV and the CNS; both those working in the care of PLWH and those undertaking clinical research and basic science research. The format of the meeting is case presentations, invited lectures, research presentations and debates; all the sessions are highly interactive focusing on exchanging clinical knowledge and skills.

These highly successful meetings evolved after several clinicians and researchers in the field, identified the need for a forum to exchange information in this highly specialised area of HIV medicine.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation for all previous meetings have been approved for by the Royal College of Physicians (UK).

“Due to travel restrictions imposed to limit the spread of coronavirus, we have unfortunately decided to postpone the 2020 UK HIV and the CNS day. We are hoping to hold the meeting later in the year once the situation becomes clearer and will let you all know as soon as a new date is set. If you have already purchased your ticket for the CNS day, you will be refunded the full amount”
